How to install the universal joint correctly
Small precision universal joint installation:
1) To ensure the constant angular velocity of the rotary motion and the synchronous rotation between the main and the driven shafts, a double cross universal joint or two single cross universal joints should be used in combination, and meet the three conditions;
a. The angle between the intermediate shaft and the main and driven shafts is equal;
b. The symmetry planes of the forks at both ends of the intermediate shaft are in the same plane;
c. The three axes of the intermediate shaft and the main and driven shafts are in the same plane.
2) When installing precision universal joints, the angular speeds of the main and driven ends are different, and the main and driven shafts cannot maintain synchronous rotation, and their asynchrony changes with the included angle.
