Remove the axle lock nut, support the vehicle on the hoist, and lift the vehicle to a proper height. Loosen the inner ball cage of the six fixing bolts. Remove the control arm from the knuckle. Remove the halfshaft from one side of the outer spherical cage and avoid damaging the halfshaft dust sleeve. Remove the ball cage: knock the inner ring of the ball cage with a copper hammer to make the ball cage and inner ring perpendicular to the outer ring, and remove the ball ring, ball cage and steel ball.
Universal joint drive device mainly includes universal joint and transmission shaft. For the segmented drive shaft with a long drive distance, in order to improve the rigidity of the drive shaft, an intermediate support is also provided. Open the locking claw of the locking plate, remove the fixing bolts of the bearing cover, and remove the locking plate and the bearing cover. Push the bearing sleeve and roller by hand. For tighter bearings, the drive shaft or telescopic sleeve can be grasped by hand, and the universal fork can be hit with a hammer, so that the spider can hit the bearing sleeve and hit the roller pin.
After the universal joint is disassembled, the components shall be cleaned with gasoline to expose the damage and wear of the components, and the inspection and maintenance shall be carried out as follows. Check the needle bearing. If the needle bearing is broken and the oil seal fails, replace it with a new part. Check the wear, indentation and peeling of the spider journal. If the cross collar is slightly worn, embossed or peeled off, it can still be used. If it is worn too much, seriously embossed (more than 0.1 mm in depth) or severely peeled off, it should be replaced.
